What Do I Need to Use Lessonspace?

This article outlines the minimum setup required to run a lesson on Lessonspace, plus optional equipment to enhance your online teaching experience.

Minimum Requirements

To run a successful online lesson with Lessonspace, all you need is:

  • A laptop or desktop computer with a microphone (built-in or external)

  • A webcam (recommended, but not required)

  • A tablet or smartphone (can be used, but a desktop/laptop is preferred)

  • A reliable internet connection - ideally 5 Mb/s download and 3 Mb/s upload.

  • The latest version of a modern browser – we recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

💡 If your setup can handle a Zoom call, it will likely work well with Lessonspace.

Optional Extras for a Better Experience

While not required, the following tools can improve your Lessonspace sessions:

  • Drawing tools – such as a touchscreen laptop, stylus, or drawing tablet.

  • Webcam - Most modern laptops and desktops come with a built-in camera. Optionally, you can use an external webcam (or your iPhone) for a higher-quality webcam experience.

  • Earphones with a microphone – recommended to reduce echo and block background noise.

Tip: Turn on our Advanced Noise Cancellation feature for even better audio quality!
