You can prepare a lesson once and reuse it across multiple Spaces. Export an entire lesson or select individual tabs, then save them to your device or Lessonspace Library to use again. This is particularly useful for lesson templates, recurring activities, or reviewing previous lessons with students.
Export lesson content from a Space
You can export all tabs in a Space or select only the tabs you'd like to reuse. Your exported content includes whiteboards, uploaded resources, and annotations.
Open the Space containing the lesson materials you'd like to export.
Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner and select Export.
In the export window, select the tabs you'd like to include.
Choose where to save your exported content:
Download to my device: Download a ZIP file that you can import to another Space.
My Library: Save the content directly to your Lessonspace Library for easy access in other Spaces.
Follow the prompts to complete the export.
Tip: To export a single tab, right-click the tab at the top of your Space and select Export Tab. This opens the export window with that tab already selected.
Save lesson content to your Library
Saving lessons to your Library is the easiest way to reuse teaching materials without downloading and uploading ZIP files.
When exporting, select My Library and choose where to save your content. Teachers can export to their personal Library, while organization admins can save content to either their personal Library or the organization's Library.
Once saved, your exported lesson content will be available in the Library within your Space's resource drawer, ready to use in other lessons.
Import lesson content into another Space
There are two ways to import previously exported lesson materials.
Option 1: Import from your Library
Open the Space where you'd like to reuse your lesson.
Open the Library from the whiteboard toolbar.
Find the lesson materials you've previously exported.
Select the saved content to add it to your Space.
Option 2: Import a ZIP file
Open the Space where you'd like to import your lesson.
Click the + icon in the top-left corner.
Select Import ZIP.
Choose the ZIP file you've previously downloaded.
Your lesson materials will be imported into the Space, ready to use or edit.

Can I reuse the same lesson in multiple Spaces?
Yes! You can export your lesson materials and import them into as many Spaces as needed. This is particularly useful when teaching the same lesson to different students or groups.
Can I export just one whiteboard instead of the entire Space?
Yes. Right-click the whiteboard tab and select Export Tab. You can then download it as a ZIP file or save it directly to your Library.
Will my whiteboard annotations and uploaded files be included?
Yes. Exported lesson content preserves your whiteboards, uploaded images, PDFs, and annotations so you can continue working with them in another Space. Note: It does not include chat messages from the Space you export the content from.
What's the difference between downloading a ZIP and saving to My Library?
Both options let you reuse lesson materials. Download to my device saves a ZIP file to your computer, which you can import later or share with others. My Library saves the content directly to Lessonspace, making it available from your resource drawer without downloading a file.
Can I share lesson templates with other teachers in my organization?
Organization admins can export lesson content to the Organization Library, making it available for teachers to reuse across Spaces, subject to their Library access permissions. Alternatively, you can share your files with other teachers from your Lessonspace dashboard Library manager.
Can I edit a lesson after importing it?
Yes. Once imported, you can continue editing the whiteboards, adding resources, and making annotations without changing the original exported content.
